Bringing clarity to what matters most

Dr. Scott Hamilton is a licensed psychologist who brings warmth, curiosity, and decades of experience working alongside people in clinical, educational, pastoral, and community settings. Throughout his career, he has been drawn to helping people better understand themselves, make sense of difficult experiences, and find a meaningful way forward.

At Clear Path, Dr. Scott provides comprehensive psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, helping bring clarity to concerns involving learning, attention, cognitive functioning, emotional and behavioral difficulties, personality, and trauma. He believes an evaluation should do more than provide a diagnosis—it should help people understand what they are experiencing, recognize their strengths, and leave with practical next steps.

Dr. Scott also provides psychotherapy for concerns including trauma, anxiety, and depression, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and EMDR. His clinical approach is relational and attentive to the whole person, including the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped their life.

More than three decades of teaching, mentoring, pastoral care, clinical work, and supervision have shaped the way Dr. Scott practices today. He does not see his role as simply telling people what is wrong or what they should do next. He seeks to come alongside them with compassion, careful attention, and clinical expertise—helping them find greater clarity and a path forward that is genuinely their own.
